History

TNCC has been a standard for trauma nurse training across the UK since 1990. The course is franchised from the Emergency Nurses Association in the USA who developed this course for nurses and written by nurses in the 1980’s.

TNCC is a truly international standard for trauma education and is the recognised courses for USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Holland, Scandinavia, Portugal and many more countries across the developed world. TNCC is currently taught in 13 countries worldwide and in excess of 50,000 nurses per year undertake the course.
