Lynn Swift

Board Member & Director of Courses

I have been a TNCC instructor for 17 years and a Trauma Nursing board member for 3 years.
I have over 15 years’ experience within emergency care. Currently I have a dual role as an Advanced Practitioner / Clinical Services Manager within a nurse led Walk in Centre / Minor injuries.

I gained an MSc in Clinical Nursing at Liverpool University in 2006 and completed the non- medical prescriber course in 2008.

I have always had a special interest in teaching and learning and since 2008 I have been an honorary lecturer at Chester University developing and facilitating a level 7 Minor Injury Illness course.

In January 2016 I completed a PGCE in Clinical Education and I am currently working towards an MA in education.

As well as Directing and instructing on several TNCC courses each year as a member of the Board for Trauma Nursing Limited one of my key roles is to coordinate and confirm the faculty required on each of the courses. I also arrange Instructor courses and liaise with instructor candidates providing prior to them attending an instructor course.
