TNCC position statement on Coronavirus (COVID-19) / Back

09 Aug

Background

We continue to follow advice from the Public Health Departments of the UK (Public Health England, Public Health Wales, Health Protection Scotland and Public Health Agency Northern Ireland) and we continue to monitor the current situation. We are also going to follow any advice from the Department of Public Health in Ireland as well as from the World Health Organisation and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO).

We take our responsibilities to our staff, faculty and course attendees very seriously and will undertake a decision on a day by day basis to protect everyone's health to prevent the spread of the virus.

Courses

We are considering how we can move forward but currently all courses up to the end of the year have been postponed EXCEPT the Belfast course at the end of August which we are running as our first trial of a socially-distanced course. All candidates and faculty will be contacted directly if they are due to attend this course. All other candidates and faculty will be contacted as soon as we are clear if we can continue this approach. Candidates will not be able to book online at this time.

Contacting us

We are implementing our business continuity plans which ensure remote access can take place for staff to work from home. This will therefore ensure that we continue to be available by email tncc@traumanursinguk.co.uk for any questions from centres, instructors and candidates.
